Editor in Chief: Jalene P. Potter, Ph.D.

Jalene P. Potter, Ph.D., is an associate professor at SHSU, and received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.  She has worked in higher education for eight years after spending fifteen years in the EC-12 schools as a teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum specialist.  Her writing/research interests include lesson design, curriculum alignment, teacher preparation, and instructional coaching. 

 

Associate Editor: Robert M. Maninger, Ed.D.

Robert M. Maninger, Ed.D., associate professor at SHSU, received his Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. His minor was in instructional technology, which is one of his areas of expertise. He has been in academia for ten years after spending twenty years in the EC-12 schools. His writing/research interests include; technology integration, teacher morale and moonlighting, and administrative case studies. 

Associate Editor: Latrice M Nickson, Ph.D.

Lautrice M. Nickson, Ph.D., is an associate professor at Sam Houston State University. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University. Dr. Nickson was a teacher and an EC-6 administrator for 15 years before coming to higher education. Her writing/research interests include classroom management, teacher preparation, and teacher retention
